The solo show CONTAGION renders a statement, a visual testimony of the idea that nothing and no one exist autonomously and independently from a context. Each socio-cultural island is connected-contaminated with the ideas, sensations and experiences around it. In this line, self-awareness becomes an act of conciliation between “sides”, which lose their singularity given by a hypothetical autonomy towards the “whole”. The solo show CONTAGION, although unitarily conceived, is not aimed as a monolithic exhibition, but as a statement seemingly eclectic from a temporal and material perspective, resorting to diverse media and fragments from different instances in which the traces of an ongoing process of knowledge through “image” are marked.
